**LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) -- The Chicago Bears agreed to terms Friday with cornerback Floyd Young and offensive lineman Kevin Dogins of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers...Terms of the deals were not disclosed.
**ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) -- The Buffalo Bills have three of their 12 draft picks left to sign after agreeing to a deal Friday with tackle Jonas Jennings...Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
**KIRKLAND, Wash. (AP) -- The Seattle Seahawks have signed tackle Floyd Womack and defensive tackle Kris Kocurek on Friday. Terms of the deals were not announced.

*JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- The Jacksonville Jaguars signed third-round draft pick James Boyd and seventh-round pick Randy Chervier to three-year contracts Monday. - Boyd, a safety from Penn State, signed a deal worth $ 1.28 million with a $ 384,000 signing bonus. Chervier, a defensive lineman and long snapper, signed for $ 900,000, although only $ 8,000 is guaranteed.

*HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (AP) -- Rookie wide receiver Steve Jackson was claimed by the New York Jets off waivers from the San Francisco 49ers on Monday.

*PITTSBURGH (AP) -- Josh Miller became one of the NFL's highest-paid punters, agreeing Monday to a $ 5.6 million, five-year contract extension with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The deal includes a $ 1.1 million signing bonus and locks up Miller through the 2006 season.

*FOXBORO, Mass. (AP) -- The New England Patriots waived rookie free agent wide receiver Scott McCready on Monday.

**We reported earlier this week that the Raiders were interested in former Chargers CB DeRon Jenkins. It turns out that the Raiders will likely sign him in the coming days.

**The 49ers remain undermanned in their secondary, so they are looking over former Giants CB Reggie Stephens.
**The Tennessean reports that former Panthers FB Williams Floyd is hanging nearby for the Titans to call and offer him a contract to play football next year in Tennessee.

**CBS/Sportsline is reporting that the Lions want to ink WR Germaine Crowell to a contract extension...Sportsline figures a deal will be reached before the start of the regular season.
**CBS/Sportsline is reporting that the both the Lions and Cowboys UFA DL Alonzo Spellman enjoyed their time together recently. "He likes them and, from what they tell me, they like Alonzo too," agent Eugene Parker said. "But there are still a couple more teams who might want to bring him in for a workout, so there's no hurry, and nothing is imminent yet with the Lions people."
**CBS/Sportsline is reporting that the 49ers have plans to bring in a veteran LB to fortify their depth . Former Jets LB Roman Phifer and former Titans LB Terry Killens are under consideration, with Killens thought to have the inside track because of his versatility and STs ability.
**In Trent Dilfer news...he reportedly rejected contract offers from the Green Bay Packers and Indianapolis Colts because he was not interested in being the dutiful backup to a franchise quarterback such as Brett Favre or Peyton Manning.

*Lions Rumors: CBS/Sportsline is reporting that the Lions ave agreed to restructure the contract of DL Luther Ellis reducing his 2001 base salary from $ 3.8M to $ 477K, and giving him the balance in the form of guaranteed money. Ellis' cap charge goes from $ 5.36M to $ 2.71M and savings of $ 2.65M. The Lions are now $ 4.25M under the salary cap. The Lions need about $ 2.931M to sign all of their draft picks. WR Germaine Crowell has been rumored to be up for a new deal. The contract he signed out of college expires after next season.

*The Tennessean reports that contract talks between the Titans and QB Steve McNair are close to concluding in a long-term deal.
